About

Gabriel Reyes joined Aparicio Immigration Law in 2026 as an associate attorney. Gabriel’s practice focuses primarily on U.S. immigration law, including removal defense, family-based applications, and humanitarian relief. Mr. Reyes regularly represents clients before the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services and the Executive Office for Immigration Review in a wide range of immigration matters. 

Gabriel earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2025. He previously graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019 with Bachelor’s degrees in International Studies – Politics & Diplomacy and Spanish. 

During law school, Gabriel worked in his school’s immigration clinic, assisting clients with family-based immigration petitions and naturalization matters. He also served as a law clerk focused on asylum cases, humanitarian relief applications, and removal defense proceedings. 

Prior to law school, Gabriel worked as an immigration paralegal, focusing primarily on employment-based immigration matters. His background in both employment-based and humanitarian immigration gives him experience across a broad range of immigration matters. 

In addition to his legal experience, Gabriel taught Spanish classes and coordinated refugee resources in Barcelona, Spain, deepening his commitment to advancing human rights through immigration law. 

He maintains memberships in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Chicago-Bar Association, and the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois.
